It's always when I'm busiest that I feel the most secure, productive, complete, happy. I revel in the exhaustion that simultaneously frustrates me and forces me to push harder; I don't give up easily these days.
Between the River Barge Festival, waking up too early on Saturday, the No Pants Party on Saturday evening and being busy, busy, busy in general I've neglected some hardcore "Alyson Time" that is genuinely needed.

Ever just have those nights where you need to sit in your underwear watching 30 Rock eating snacks and sipping on white wine after a nice long bath before an early bedtime. Mmmmm sleepytimez. Yeah, I need one of those baaaaad.

That being said, I'm going to change into my comfiest pajamas and curl up in bed - I want to stay up and visit with Gord but I don't know what he's coming home. I miss my roommate so I bought him some Dr. Pepper and milk from the store, it's in the fridge with a smiley note.

Cheesy? Yes, but that's how I keep it real up in n'yah.
