It's Wednesday, I'm in love

sitting at my desk taking a break from doing the boringest thing ever which is entering AP invoices into SAP and I can't believe I get paid what I get paid to do this. it should either be way more or way less depending on how you look at it but I'll take the money and run, thank you.
but it's lunchtime right now and I'm eating this crazy three-cheese pasta and half a porkchop stuffed with pear and goat cheese which is leftover from the weekend which leads me to the title of this post
because nobody is actually in love with wednesday, ever.
saturday Tyrone made me this crazy dinner which consisted of the stuff I just mentioned and we hung a sheet up over the flatscreen on the living room wall and hooked up the projector instead.
we put blankets on the floor and set it up all picnic-like.
I put out tons of candles all around the living room so there was sexy time mood lighting.
we picked the movie Solaris which isn't really a date-time movie but we have to be different somehow, I guess.
we ate our dinner, set up pillows and blankets on the floor and lay down together to watch the movie
and fell asleep before the movie even ended.
which some would consider to be a colossal loss, but not me.
because we still made a nice dinner together and still put a ton of effort into having a nice at-home date on a saturday night, which is more than a lot of almost-three-years-together couples do. even if they fall asleep together because omg it'd been a long week for both of us.
and now I have leftovers to make my wednesday better.

some days I don't feel like blogging

nothing I have to say feels witty enough, smart enough, relevant enough to type out and hit 'publish' and be proud of the next day.
maybe my problem is that I care if I'm proud of what I say later. should I be?
tyrone messaged me this morning and said "I've been reading your blog, you've been sad lately" and though I was in a good mood at the time it made me sad because is that really what I sound like? fuck. I'm sorry, guys.
I think I need a vacation, which isn't happening anytime soon because school starts in omg like two weeks so there's no time or money available for such frivolousness. and yes I know I just came back from BC and Connect and festivals but I mean a vacation. far away. somewhere I can relax and bit and not stress and chill the fuck out for the first time in what feels like years.
don't get me wrong I'm happy with life and my friends and tyrone and blah blah but sometimes you don't realize how stressed out you are until someone else has to point it out and them boom it all lands on your shoulders like a huge weight and of course you're at work when it happens so you have to push through the whole afternoon feeling like junk.
of course.
so let's just pretend everything I said above was cute hilarious banter about the video of the hovercraft video.

MEME released a new promo vid today

and though you guys all know I'm the social media coordinator for one of the best festivals on the Prairies
and though I try not to brag (too much) about how great MEME really is
I needed to share our brand-spakin' new promo vid with you guys, because watching it gets me so excited for this coming summer
we're got some great acts booked, like
John Tejada
Adham Shaikh
Deadbeat
Pablo Bolivar
and possibly the coolest venue in town, the Winnipeg Art Gallery.
and yes, yes, I know it's the middle of January and June seems like a million miles away, but there's nothing like anticipating all the fun you'll be having over the summer to warm your spirit, right?
I'm going a bit crazy right now thinking about how insane things are going to be once we shift into full-on Festivel Prep Mode. Omg.
seriously guys, this year's MEME is going to be ridiculous.
